“Strategies to Maximize Revenue from Insurance
Carriers and PPO’s”

This study club is designed to educate private dental practices on the importance of understanding and evaluating insurance contracts properly, and how their contracting decisions will affect practice revenue. Dental insurance companies operate differently than traditional health insurance, and dentists need to understand how this will impact the practice.

Learn the difference between insurance carriers and PPO’s, offers insight into network sharing
arrangements, and payment downgrading- all of which will inform a strong approach to contracting. We will review strategies and tactics that can lead to higher revenue, more accurate payment predictability, and improved office administrative efficiencies. The main goal of the course is to give practice owners the understanding and tools they need to have a contracting strategy that will lead to a financially successful practice.

  • How dental insurance plans operate, similarities and differences

  • How contracting directly impacts the practice finances

  • What strategies and tactics to follow to have a successful approach to contracting
